Title: "The bbox seems to be outside of the US. Footprints probably only exist in OSM"
Post by: jsaw on May 19, 2021, 09:49:05 PM
When I specify the coordinates of the bounding box, I get "The bbox seems to be outside of the US. Footprints probably only exist in OSM". I still do get the desired buildings within the bounding box, though. What could be causing this error message? Should I be worried that I get this error message? Thank you!

If you are using a bbox for a place outside of the US and you specified the footprint to be Microsoft, you'll get that message.

In that case, the program automatically switches the footprint source to be OSM.

So you don't need to worry about that.

Thanks for the reply! And sorry, I should have been clearer. I meant that the bbox I specified *is* within the US, but I still get this message. Should I be concerned?
