Title: BUG: 60 hr limit of running time
Post by: carteta on February 26, 2020, 01:04:56 AM
EEUQ cannot run for more than 60 hours in the DesignSafe platform. When given a longer time, it simply fails the run and doesn't let it start.

this is contingent on designsafe allowing longer runs. we will ask to see if these can run on another machine, assigned BA10 in software requirements if you want to track.

DesignSafe has informed me that there is a hard limit of 48 hours on their machines. no exceptions. there are probably work arounds e could built into the tool, but i need to know are the individual finite element simulations using the limit or is it just the shear number of simulations and limited number of processors causing the problem?
