When I specify the coordinates of the bounding box, I get "The bbox seems to be outside of the US. Footprints probably only exist in OSM". I still do get the desired buildings within the bounding box, though. What could be causing this error message? Should I be worried that I get this error message? Thank you!

AI use in Regional Simulation (BRAILS) / matching "geometry" to images

I'm having trouble matching the results (from the BIM table) to the images saved in the TopView and StreetView folders. I have a few questions:

  • The longitude/latitude specified in the BIM table doesn't exactly match the names of the TopView and StreetView images. Is this because the BIM table specifies the centroid coordinates of the building, whereas the TopView and StreetView images are named by the coordinates of the location at which the photo was taken?
  • What is the recommended way for quickly matching the entry in the BIM table to the images? Should I just manually look for the images with the coordinates that are closest to the coordinates in the BIM table?
  • There are 11 buildings listed on the table (ID 0 through 10), but there are 21 images in each folder. Some buildings seem to have three images each, while others have one image each. Is there a systematic way that the number of images is assigned to each building?

Hello, I'm currently having difficulties installing BRAILS. I have Python 3.7.6 so I downloaded Fiona-1.8.18-cp37-cp37m-win_amd64.whl and GDAL-3.2.2-cp37-cp37m-win_amd64.whl. However, the pip install BRAILS is taking too long/running into an error. What might be the issues causing this problem? Thank you in advance!

Is there a way for me to save the building images (satellite, street view) that BRAILS uses to create its building inventory? Put in another way, where can I locate the images that correspond to each row in the BIM file? Thank you!

I'm currently experiencing an UnindentifiedImageError when running example 2. I'm quite sure that my GoogleMapsApiKey is correct (Maps Embed API has been enabled). Do you have any suggestions for what else could be causing this error? It would be helpful to know if there are a few things I can double-check to make sure I'm doing this correctly. Thank you!
