OpenSees and User Defined EDP
« on: April 18, 2023, 07:42:24 PM »
Hi,

I am trying to use R2D to assess the performance of an OpenSees model placed at various locations under an earthquake scenario - two quick questions came up.

First, my model is in OpenSees (.tcl file), not OpenSeesPy. In the "MOD" tab, I see an "OpenSeesPy Script Generator" and "CustomPy" -  is there a way to use an OpenSees .tcl model in R2D? I see that OpenSees is an option in the ANA tab, just not in the MOD.

Second question - is there a way to use User Defined EDPs in R2D (instead of the Standard Earthquake EDPs), similar to how you can use User Defined EDPs in EE-UQ?

Thanks for your help.

1. you could use openseespy to start opensees!
2. not in current release  .. the EDP choices are set to create the right output for pelicun or whatever is running the DL part of the workflow .. if this is something you are interested in let me know and we can set up a meeting to see how we would change things to accomodate what you want to do.
