FEATURE: spectrum weights in PEER NGA Records selection

Hi,

For Event definitions, please consider allowing users to specify weights for a spectrum range in the PEER NGA record search (i.e. match ground motions with weights as 1.0 for period ranges T = [0.6, 4.5]s, 0.0 elsewhere).

Apologies if this has already been implemented in a recent release. Please let me know in that case.

it is not implemented .. as we are calling the PEER interface directly with the user specified spectrum, that feature you request would only be possible if it is available through the PEER server .. at present it does not appear to be (at least I cannot find it) .. if you can find the option and can point it out or if you have a workaround let us know and I will see if we can implement it.

Thanks for replying. I'm referring to the "Scaling" specifications after the user has specified ASCE Code Target Spectrum (e.g.) on the PEER interface. That appears after the target spectrum is selected, and the user is prompted to search with parameters.

From there, if the user specifies scaling as "Minimize MSE", a prompt for Weight Function appears. My request was for this weight function to be available in the EEUQ GUI.

ok .. i have added it to our list of features to be added in our Jira system .. currently scheduled for our version 3.0.0 release which is due end of sept. if we can get a minor minor release out before then and it is included, i will notify you through this thread.
