What do you expect to gain from the Programming Bootcamp?

Could you please post 1-3 sentences (or keywords) that best describe your expectations for the Programming Bootcamp?

My expectations are as follow
1. To use the tools in Simcenter,
2. A firm start to parallel computing,
3. To learn how to use Agave.

- networking chances (get to know someone to ask from)
- learn how to create/write simple interface program (interacting with other available program e.g. OpenSees, Dakota)
- familiarize myself with python languange/programming style (transitioning from matlab)
Extras: always excited to learn new stuff in the sylabus (oop, github, paralel processing, etc.)

I wanted to push myself to learn C and C++ to get familiarized with the OpenSees code better. This is how I started with Python 2 years ago. Hopefully it will start my C journey now.
